FALL RIVER- SOMERSET- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, ROADWAY & RELATED WORK, F-02-094=S-16-014, BRIGHTMAN STREET OVER THE TAUNTON RIVER

This is the fourth of four construction contracts for the Brightman Street bridge replacement project. Work under this contract includes approach spans, bascule span superstructure, concrete bridge piers, control house, bridge abutment and retaining walls, and electrical and mechanical equipment for the operation and control of the bascule spans. This project also includes construction of roadways, ramps, bikeways, walkways, grading, erosion control, steel sheeting, drainage, utilities, signs, traffic signals, pavement markings, lighting, planting, and fishing pier. Included are four new bridges: Relocated Route 6 over Riverside Ave., Ramp N-W over Route 79, Ramp E-W over Route 79, and Ramp W-N over the Taunton River.
