Project Description:
PITTSFIELD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, P-10-053 & REHABILITATION, P-10-060, HUNGERFORD STREET OVER S.W. BRANCH OF THE HOUSATONIC RIVER
Two separate bridges approximately one-half mile apart will be replaced at their respective locations with approach roadway improvements. The Hungerford Street bridge north of Route 20 will be replaced by a 18.3-meter long precast bridge with a concrete deck slab. The Hungerford Street Bridges crossing the South West Branch of the Housatonic River will be replaced with a new 9.1-meter long precast concrete bridge with a concrete deck. Both bridges will provide two 3.7-meter travel lanes and two 1.5-meter sidewalks.
