MILTON- SIGNALS & INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS @ BLUE HILL AVENUE (ROUTE 138) & NEPONSET VALLEY PARKWAY

This major safety improvement project will enhance safety and improve efficiency by installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue (Route 138) and Neponset Valley Parkway. There will also be major geometric improvements at this intersection, such as road widening and improved lane alignment and configurations to improve sight distance. This work will include a new retaining wall and the extension of an existing culvert, resulting in some significant drainage improvements. New signs and pavement markings will also be installed.
