Project Description:
BOURNE- SAGAMORE ROTARY GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT
As a product of a feasibility study, the current design concept for this area is to grade separate Route 3 and Scenic Highway with a bridge structure located approximately 1,000 feet north of the Sagamore Bridge. Scenic Highway will be relocated to the north, pass under Route 3 north and south and connect into Meeting House Lane. This new alignment will result in a displacement of the “park and ride” lot to the south, and the relocation of the MassHighway Depot, Chamber of Commerce building, and the fire station currently located on the rotary.
