WELLESLEY- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, W-13-015, CEDAR STREET OVER ROUTE 9 WORCESTER STREET

The purpose of this project is to replace the superstructure and center pier of the Cedar Street Bridge over Route 9 in the Town of Wellesley. To facilitate construction while maintaining vehicular and pedestrian traffic, the final bridge width will be increased to four traffic lanes with sidewalks on both sides. The work also includes the reconstruction of about 460 linear feet of Cedar Street and about 500 linear feet of Worcester Road and other incidental work. The Cedar Street/Worcester Road intersection will have new traffic signals. Adequate access to abutting property will be maintained during construction.
