The Fore River Bridge is manned 24 hours a day year round.
The Fore River Bascule Bridge has been partially demolished by others.
The Granite Ave. Drawbridge is manned 6:00a.m. to Midnight From May 1 through October 31. 1 hour advance notice is needed for openings.
This project is for the operation, routine maintenance, scheduled and emergency repairs to the Vertical Lift Fore River and Granite Avenue drawbridges. It includes providing bridge operators to man and/or respond to the bridges to open them for marine traffic. (as of 08/25/2008) |
